Amathounta’s Ancient Port

Located inside the first Archeological Marine Park of the island in Limassol, created in 2009, this is a historical dive site featuring the Ancient Port of Amathounta. Beginning from the coastline and extending to a depth of 5m, the most interesting part is the entrance of the port where you can see the actual pattern of the Southern mole made with squared rocks. This is not only a place with archeological and natural heritage, but also the new home of octopuses, turtles, different schooling of fish, and a school of small barracudas!

This is the place for snorkeling and entry level divers, this is why we use this dive site for the Discover Scuba Diver Program for non divers!
